The total amount of funding is 696.5 million VND, from the provincial budget reserve in 2024 to build a temporary dam to prevent saltwater intrusion at Go Noi bridge, and to fabricate and install a steel water intake culvert under the temporary Go Noi dam.

Quang Nam Irrigation Exploitation Company Limited is completing investment procedures under the supervision, guidance and monitoring of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Department of Planning and Investment. The project will be constructed in 15 days at the earliest. Once completed, this temporary dam will prevent saltwater intrusion and provide fresh water for irrigating 530 hectares of rice in Duy Xuyen.
