In recent times, implementing the cooperation program with the Southeast provinces, Tay Ninh and Long An have cooperated in investing and putting into operation many important transport infrastructure projects, helping to connect the two provinces, creating conditions for socio -economic development, contributing to hunger eradication and poverty reduction, and improving people's lives.

According to the Department of Transport of Tay Ninh , in the near future, the People's Committees of Long An and Tay Ninh provinces will organize a conference to review the agreement on socio-economic development cooperation for the period 2018-2020 and sign the cooperation content until 2025 between the two localities.
In particular, the Department of Transport of the two provinces agreed to advise the People's Committees of the two provinces on the content of connecting traffic infrastructure, adding to the planning of each locality to implement projects such as: opening a new traffic route connecting the center of Phuoc Chi commune, Trang Bang town, Tay Ninh province with the center of My Thanh Bac commune, Duc Hue district, Long An province (expected to be invested before 2030), a bridge across the Vam Co Dong river at the passenger wharf across the Phuoc Chi - Loc Giang river after 2030.
On May 30, at a meeting to discuss traffic connection between Tay Ninh and Long An provinces, the Departments of Transport of the two provinces discussed and agreed on a plan to coordinate the implementation of the project to open a new traffic route connecting the center of Phuoc Chi commune, Trang Bang town, Tay Ninh province with the center of My Thanh Bac commune, Duc Hue district, Long An province.
The new route is expected to meet grade III standards, starting at Ba Xam intersection (adjacent to An Thanh - Tra Cao road, Phuoc Chi commune, Trang Bang town, Tay Ninh) and ending at the intersection with road 838 (My Thanh Bac commune, Duc Hue district, Long An province). In particular, a new bridge connecting Tay Ninh - Long An via Rach Tram bridge will be built. The total estimated cost of the whole project is over 155 billion VND.
Regarding transportation, the Department of Transport of the two provinces maintains the operation of 6 fixed transportation routes, including: Tay Ninh bus station - Long An bus station, Tay Ninh bus station - Kien Tuong bus station, Tay Ninh bus station - Duc Hue bus station, Tay Ninh bus station - Tan Hung bus station, Tay Ninh bus station - Vinh Hung bus station, Tan Ha bus station - Duc Hue bus station. In addition, the two provinces also coordinate to invite transportation units to operate inter-provincial bus and passenger car routes from Tay Ninh to Long An to serve the travel needs of the people.
The new route will connect Phuoc Chi commune, Trang Bang town, Tay Ninh with road 838, My Thanh Bac commune, Duc Hue district, Long An province.
In addition, Tay Ninh, together with Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc provinces, proposed that the Ministry of Transport soon invest in completing phase 1 of the Ho Chi Minh Road project, Chon Thanh - Duc Hoa section. The project has been approved by the Ministry of Transport in Decision 1032/QD-BGTVT dated July 28, 2022, with a scale of grade III road, roadbed of 12.25m, road surface of 11.25m, total investment of 2,293 billion VND, expected to start construction in 2023 and be completed in 2025.
According to the leader of Tay Ninh Department of Transport, implementing the cooperation program with provinces and cities, up to now, many important traffic routes, connecting the region have been jointly invested in and put into use by the provinces, such as: Huong Lo 10, Loc Phuoc - Song Lo road, Trung Hung - Bau May road and completed construction of a bridge from Huong Lo 12 across Dong canal connecting with Ba Tuoi - Trang Sa stream road, helping to connect Trang Bang town with Ho Chi Minh City.
At the same time, Tay Ninh is investing in the N8-787B-789 regional connecting route; coordinating with Ho Chi Minh City to invest in the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai expressway, expected to start construction in 2024 and complete in 2027.
Tay Ninh and Binh Duong province are investing in connecting from Highway 784 (Tay Ninh) to Highway 744 (Binh Duong), including building a new bridge across the Saigon River; and increasing the Saigon Bridge. The two localities are considering investing in an additional connecting route from Highway 789 (Tay Ninh) to Highway 744 (Binh Duong).
Together with Binh Phuoc, build Saigon 2 bridge and upgrade and expand connecting routes between the two provinces such as roads 794 and 792. Researching investment in traffic routes and bridges connecting Tan Hoa commune, Tan Chau district, Tay Ninh province with Tan Hiep commune, Hon Quan district, Binh Phuoc province (Cay Khe ferry area on Saigon river) to serve socio-economic development, tourism and ensure national security and defense.
