According to the forecast information of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting and the Northern Hydro-Meteorological Station, storm WIPHA has entered the northeastern sea of the North East Sea, becoming the third storm in 2025 .
At 4:00 p.m. today (July 21), the center of storm No. 3 was about 100km from Quang Ninh, 220km from Hai Phong , 240km from Hung Yen, and 270km from Ninh Binh, with the strongest winds near the center of the storm at level 9-10 (75-102km/h), gusting to level 12. In the past hours, the storm has shown signs of slowing down and strengthening due to entering warm seas.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 9 (75-88km/h), gusting to level 11; moving in the West Southwest direction at a speed of 15-20km/h.
This is a strong, fast-moving storm that will affect the North and North Central regions from the evening of July 21, 2025, causing strong winds, heavy rain, high risk of flash floods, landslides in the midlands and mountainous areas, and flooding in low-lying and urban areas.
