In 2024, the New Soldier Training Battalion, Air Defense Division 377 was assigned the task of receiving and training more than 400 new soldiers. After 3 months of training and practice, with the spirit of solidarity, unity, and proactively overcoming difficulties, the battalion successfully completed the task of training new soldiers, ensuring absolute safety in all aspects. 100% of new soldiers successfully completed the training content and program according to regulations. Through the end-of-training inspection, for the AK shooting content, lesson 1, 75.8% met the requirements, of which 13.58% were excellent, 37.78% were fair; explosives use lesson 1, 99.75% met the requirements, of which 50.62% were excellent, 35.8% were fair; Grenade throwing exercise 1: 99.26% met the requirements, of which 55.56% were excellent, 21.98% were fair; breaststroke swimming: 100% met the requirements, of which 22.5% were excellent, 54.1% were fair. Each soldier was proficient in technical movements, tactics, and commands and had clearly matured in all aspects; demonstrated steadfast and steady political will, ready to receive and complete well all assigned tasks.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Ta Minh Hung acknowledged and commended the results achieved by the unit in carrying out the task of training new soldiers in the past time; at the same time, he requested that in the coming time, the officers and soldiers continuously improve their political qualities, have high determination, strive to study and practice to improve their qualifications and ability to meet the requirements of the task; actively innovate the organization and training methods, continue to thoroughly grasp and successfully implement the resolutions of the Central Military Commission and the Party Committee of the Service on improving the quality of training; Air Defense Division 377 in general and new soldiers in particular continue to promote the tradition of the division, ready to receive and excellently complete all assigned tasks.

On the same day, Regiment 591, Air Defense Division 377 held an oath-taking ceremony for 198 new soldiers enlisted in 2024. Attending the ceremony were Colonel Pham Duy Hoat - Deputy Political Commissar of the division and representatives of the Party Committee, government, and Military Agency of Dong Hoa town, Phu Yen province and Cam Ranh city, Khanh Hoa province.
Strictly implementing the training plan, Regiment 591 has completed the training content and time for 198 new soldiers in 2024 according to the schedule and time prescribed. Organizingeducation and training for new soldiers to have a strong political stance, pure revolutionary ethics, absolute loyalty to the revolutionary cause of the Party; good physical strength, strict discipline, exemplary demeanor, proficiency in technical movements, tactics, weapons in the establishment, strictly complying with the law and discipline. At the end of the training, 7 contents were excellent, 4 contents were fair, the 3-explosion practice was excellent and absolute safety was ensured.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Pham Duy Hoat praised the efforts and spirit of Regiment 591 and asked the new soldiers to continue to promote the spirit of self-reliance, overcome all difficulties and challenges, be proactive and creative in performing tasks and work; preserve and promote the tradition of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", the noble qualities of revolutionary soldiers, ready to receive and excellently complete all assigned tasks.
