The "5 Pioneers" Movement of the Union

In the context of the knowledge economy and digital technology reshaping all fields, in the 2025 - 2030 term, the Youth Union has built a plan to propose a new movement called "5 pioneers" including: Pioneering in developing science and technology, innovation and digital transformation; Pioneering in legitimate enrichment, developing the country's economy; Pioneering in international integration; Pioneering in volunteer activities for the community; Pioneering in participating in protecting the Fatherland. In which, "Pioneering in developing science and technology, innovation and digital transformation" of the Youth Union will be in line with the development orientation of Da Nang - a city moving towards a "digital, green, creative" urban model.

Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Youth Union Nguyen Ba Duan said: The movement is the guiding principle for action of Da Nang youth. Accordingly, the Youth Union will be built into a center for digital skills training and startup incubation with the city's own unique mark.

Instead of organizing general seminars, the Delegation will closely coordinate with universities, high-tech zones and businesses to design specialized training programs suitable for each key economic sector of Da Nang such as smart tourism , marine economy, and creative industry.

The City Youth Union will pioneer the construction of a "digital startup ecosystem" dedicated to youth, connecting creative ideas with investors and experts. In particular, focusing on startup projects that apply technology to solve practical problems of the city such as optimizing tourism processes, building online sales platforms for clean agricultural products from newly merged areas, or developing applications to monitor and treat the marine environment.

“These solutions not only help young people start their own businesses but also directly contribute to the city's economic breakthrough goal,” said Mr. Duân.

Protect and promote cultural values

Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Youth Union and Head of the Youth Union and Children's Affairs Committee Le Kim Thuong said that the City Youth Union will focus on implementing the program "Comprehensive Development of Da Nang Youth", focusing on intellectual development, physical training and improving the cultural and spiritual life of union members and children. This is a big change in accompanying the youth in the new period.

Typically, in traditional education, instead of just propaganda activities, the Union will take advantage of technology to create innovative products. For example, building 3D digital maps of historical and cultural relics, integrating historical stories and folk songs into interactive games. This not only helps the younger generation easily access history but also contributes to promoting local culture to domestic and international tourists in a unique way.

The Youth Union plays a role as a cultural bridge, especially in the context of administrative mergers. Youth from different regions, especially those in newly merged areas, should be encouraged to introduce their unique cultural features. Organizing festivals, cultural events, and community tourism led by youth not only helps preserve and promote traditional values but also creates unique tourism products, imbued with the identity of a "livable city".

Contribute to building the city

Mr. Le Cong Hung, Secretary of the City Youth Union, said that in the new government model, the youth are not only the ones who carry out movements but have also risen to become a force with a voice, capable of monitoring and criticizing society, contributing to the completion of the political system. This is one of the clearest manifestations of the political maturity of the youth.

The Youth Union continues to promote its role in gathering the opinions and aspirations of young people to contribute to the development and improvement of relevant policies and laws. Each Youth Union official must truly become a role model, an example of initiative, creativity and dedication.

They are not only the organizers of activities but also the ones who directly connect with the people, listen and solve practical problems. This spirit has spread widely, creating a strong movement of action among all union members and youth.
