The Miss Universe organizers stated that the Disciplinary Committee is responsible for maintaining the integrity and values of the competition. They conducted a comprehensive assessment of the matter, based on the information gathered, and concluded that the withdrawal of Italian beauty Johan Mora was the appropriate action under the current circumstances.
The news that Italy's Johan Mora withdrew from the competition came as a surprise to many, as she had already been in Mexico and participated in some of the competition's activities. Previously, Johan Mora was considered a strong contender from the Americas region.
The 19-year-old beauty is a long-time model in her hometown, possessing a beautiful face, a well-proportioned figure, and excellent performance and communication skills.
As soon as the news of the Panamanian beauty queen's unexpected withdrawal from the competition was published, social media and beauty websites were abuzz with discussions about the reasons. According to these discussions, the Panamanian representative was reportedly in conflict with the representative from the Dominican Republic. They were assigned as roommates in this year's competition.
A source revealed that the Dominican Republic beauty queen allegedly treated the Panamanian beauty queen poorly. While sharing a room, the Dominican Republic representative behaved impolitely, leading to a conflict, argument, and physical altercation between the two women.

The Miss Universe Panama national director reportedly removed their representative from the hotel because she considered the Dominican Republic contestant too aggressive. This action of removing a contestant from the hotel during the competition was deemed a violation of Miss Universe rules. As a result, the Panamanian contestant was disciplined and forced to withdraw from the competition.
According to another source, the Panamanian representative allegedly left the hotel without permission. Furthermore, she is suspected of bringing a stranger into her room, which angered the Dominican Republic representative.
On November 3rd, the Panamanian beauty queen responded to the online rumors. In a statement posted on social media, Panama's representative said she received news of her disqualification from the competition on November 1st while preparing for a dinner party.

"I was informed that I violated the rules regarding leaving the room. The reason for leaving was to apply makeup and retrieve some personal items. I believed and followed the instructions without considering the consequences. However, I just want to emphasize that this could have been avoided if I had been warned or reminded earlier," the 19-year-old beauty explained.
She said that everything that happened made her very sad because all the hard work and preparation of herself and her team had gone to waste. She truly regretted not being able to continue participating in this year's competition.
"I am speaking out to clarify inaccurate information being shared on social media and I hope everyone will respect my privacy at this time," she added.
