Recreating 9 intangible cultures on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Tay Ninh Liberation

Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Nguyen Nam Giang - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tay Ninh province said: The locality has agreed to organize 6 activities in response to the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and Tay Ninh Liberation (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) specifically: Organizing a photo exhibition; organizing a space to display artifacts, products... reflecting the economic , cultural, social, defense and security achievements after 50 years of the Liberation of the province; organizing a trade fair for industry, OCOP products and regional specialties.

In particular, this event will organize a performance space for 9 intangible cultural heritages of Tay Ninh including: Trang Bang rice paper making, Tay Ninh vegetarian food processing art, Tay Ninh chili salt making, Incense making, Tra Vong Quan Lon festival, Gia Loc Trang Bang communal house's Ky Yen festival, Chhay-Dam drum dance, Southern amateur music, Linh Son Thanh Mau festival).

As planned, the above events will take place from April 25 to May 2, mainly in the open space of Xuan Hong Park.

In addition, the main activity on the 50th anniversary of Tay Ninh Liberation (taking place on the evening of April 29) will include a 15-minute low-altitude fireworks display.

In addition, in April 2025, Tay Ninh province has been and will be implementing a number of activities to respond to the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, associated with the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Tay Ninh province, such as: inauguration of 2 key projects; cultural and sports activities to celebrate the event; visiting the martyrs' cemetery and gratitude and social security work.
