Graduated from Primary Education in 2012, Ms. H'Dor Du volunteered to work at Yang Mao Primary School - a remote and extremely difficult school in Dak Lak province. Her house in Dong Bak village (Lien Son Lak commune) is more than 60 km from the school, she had to stay at the school dormitory, and her two children had to be left with her husband and parents to take care of. Despite the hardships, over the years, she has never been discouraged. Ms. H'Dor Du always thinks: "I was born in the village, and was educated by the State, so now I have to come back to help the children of the village learn to read and write."
As a M'nong ethnic, Ms. H'Dor Du understands the customs and circumstances of M'nong students. Therefore, she was trusted by the school leaders to be in charge of Grade 1 - the class that lays the first foundation for the students' learning journey. For many years, she has volunteered to teach at a satellite school - nearly 5 km from the main school, where 100% of the students are M'nong. Every day, she diligently sows each letter, patiently guiding the students in each stroke and syllable. Thanks to that, for many years in a row, the rate of students completing the class program has been high, with few students dropping out or dropping out midway.

Not only dedicated to teaching, Ms. H'Dor Du is also an exemplary homeroom teacher, creative in building classroom discipline. She always teaches students to keep books and school supplies clean and tidy. Outside of class, she also encourages good students to help weak students, and goes to each family to coordinate with parents to encourage and motivate their children's learning spirit. She shared: "Most of the students here come from very difficult circumstances, and their parents have little opportunity to tutor them. Therefore, in order for them not to be disadvantaged, teachers must be close, loving, and help them a lot so that they can catch up with their friends."
In addition, Ms. H'Dor Du is also particularly interested in teaching life skills and preserving ethnic culture for students. She coordinated with parents to sew M'nong brocade uniforms for children to wear every day and during festivals, cultural and extracurricular activities. Ms. Dinh Thi Lieu, Vice Principal of Yang Mao Primary School, commented: "Ms. H'Dor Du is a dedicated, enthusiastic and responsible teacher for her students. Despite many difficult circumstances, she always strives and is creative in teaching, enthusiastic and dedicated to her students. In particular, Ms. H'Dor Du is also an energetic and responsible person in building a green - clean - beautiful - safe and friendly learning environment."
