Strengthening fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue work

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document on the synchronous and effective implementation of fire prevention, fighting (PCCC) and rescue (CNCH) work in the province.

The Provincial People's Committee requests departments, branches, sectors, commune-level People's Committees, agencies and units to synchronously perform tasks according to the Law on Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue, decrees and circulars guiding the implementation of the Law; focusing on new contents related to state management and responsibilities of agencies, organizations and individuals in fire prevention and fighting and rescue activities with the motto "no interruption, no vacant areas, no missing facilities".

Departments, branches and sectors shall study and resolutely implement the assigned tasks in Plan 3155/KH-UBND dated September 4, 2025; perform state management of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue according to their authority; at the same time, promote the dissemination of laws and administrative procedures to organizations, individuals, people and businesses.

The Department of Construction is assigned to preside over, coordinate the inspection, review, and classification of construction works violating construction and land laws; promptly advise on strict handling of violations, and avoid complications in the field of fire prevention and fighting.

Commune-level People's Committees urgently review and count houses combined with production and business (except for establishments with fire and explosion risks in Appendix II of Decree 105); provide guidance on declaring and updating information in the national database on fire prevention and fighting, striving to complete before December 1, 2025. At the same time, assess the current traffic situation and fire-fighting water sources; coordinate investment in water towers, bus stations, pumps in ponds, lakes, rivers and streams; regularly disseminate the law to each household.

The Provincial Police play a core role, taking the lead in guiding, urging, inspecting; synthesizing periodic reports and promptly proposing solutions to the Provincial People's Committee.

Khanh Hoa Newspaper, Radio and Television widely propagate the responsibilities of investors and fire protection design appraisal agencies; publish administrative procedures for easy access by people and businesses.

The Provincial People's Committee emphasized that units must seriously implement, ensure efficiency and synchronization, and avoid unfortunate incidents due to management shortcomings.
