In 2022, through professional work, the Steering Committee of Cho Lach district determined that there was a group of about 7 subjects operating in a simple manner, without a tight organization. Their main activities were causing disorder and violating road traffic safety, led by NTL. In addition, there were 2 cases in the district (in July 2022 and November 2022) in which 2 subjects used support tools and homemade knives to injure others. At the end of January 2023, there was an incident in which 2 subjects T. and Tr. used a rubber bullet gun to intentionally injure others due to personal conflicts.

The Steering Committee of Cho Lach district has directed the district police force to closely coordinate with professional units to focus on managing, fighting and strictly handling the subjects. Currently, the subject NTL has been prosecuted and the other subjects have also been handled according to the law. In 2022, through propaganda and mobilization work to fight against crime by all levels, sectors and local organizations, the subjects have handed over 43 types of weapons, explosives and supporting tools to the district police for handling.

Currently, in Cho Lach district, there are no more organized criminal gangs. At each time and each moment, under the strong direction of the District Steering Committee, incidents that occur are detected and prevented promptly by the police at all levels, preventing serious consequences and violators are strictly handled according to the provisions of the law.

The District Steering Committee continues to lead the District Police force to strengthen the management of weapons and support tools; promptly detect and strictly handle cases of illegal purchase, storage, transportation and use of weapons and support tools. Police at all levels strengthen coordination with agencies, especially post offices , transport units and express delivery companies in managing postal activities; do not let subjects take advantage of the delivery and receipt of postal items to illegally exchange and trade weapons and support tools.

Police at all levels continue to coordinate well with relevant units in screening, detecting and managing subjects with a tendency to operate in "gangs" and proactively destroy them. Regularly callfor education and deterrence against criminals, especially those who often cause public disorder and gather to fight; take effective measures to deter and prevent crime. Continue to effectively implement and promote the movement of All People Protecting National Security; promptly handle petitions and letters denouncing crimes from the masses. At the same time, proactively launch many high-point campaigns to attack and suppress crimes in the area.
