The training program is scheduled to take place from December 7 to 11. This year, the class will have the participation of 38 match supervisors, 15 referee supervisors, 28 referees and 35 assistant referees.

While the referee force began training on December 7, December 9 was the first working day for the match supervisors.
On behalf of the VFF leadership, speaking at the Opening Ceremony, General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu sent his greetings to all supervisors and referees attending the training course, and emphasized the efforts and positive results of the non-professional football system in 2025.
General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu said: “Entering 2026, Vietnamese football continues to carry out many important tasks. Plans for the new season have been deployed, in which the supervisor and referee training course is a key opening activity.”

Secretary General Nguyen Van Phu also assigned specific tasks to the supervisory team, referees, instructors and class organizers, requiring all training participants to uphold their sense of responsibility to better meet the professional requirements of the 2026 season.
During the 5-day training course, trainees will be updated and systematized in competition rules; discuss and learn from experiences from the 2025 season; exchange expertise through real-life situations; and grasp the plan to organize national non-professional football tournaments and adjustments in the tournament regulations and rules in 2026.

An important part of the training session, the physical fitness test of referees and assistant referees will be conducted on the morning of December 11.
Immediately after completing the training program, qualified supervisors and referees will be assigned to work at non-professional tournaments in 2026.
The first tournament in the system, the 2024/25 National U19 qualifying round, will kick off on December 14 in the host localities.
