Training on skills in composing journalistic works on Party building

On June 14-15, the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department organized a training conference on skills in composing press works on Party building in 2024 for more than 40 cadres, reporters, editors, and officials from agencies: Quang Tri Newspaper, Quang Tri Radio and Television Station, Cua Viet Magazine, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, and the Centers for Culture, Information, and Sports of districts, towns, and cities. In his opening speech, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Ho Dai Nam emphasized: Over many years of organization, the Quang Tri Golden Hammer and Sickle Award has attracted many professional and non-professional journalists in the province to participate. The quality of works participating in the award each year is always higher than the previous year. However, there are still not many works investing in digital skills, digital techniques, multimedia journalism works; there is no work winning the National Golden Hammer and Sickle Award.

This training conference aims to orient, provide information, and suggest topics for press agencies, reporters, and editors; provide new information, practically serving the propaganda work on Party building in general and the creation of press works to participate in the 2024 Golden Hammer and Sickle Award in particular, contributing to improving the effectiveness of press propaganda on Party building work in the locality.

Thereby, overcoming limitations and difficulties in creating press works on Party building; helping professional and non-professional journalists gain more experience in creating difficult topics; accurately reflecting propaganda content and having good, creative, high-quality, attractive works, attracting a large number of newspaper readers, television viewers and radio listeners; having many press works participating in and winning the National Golden Hammer and Sickle Award.

During the training period, the trainees were taught by Phan Phuong Quyen, Head of the Party Building Department of Nhan Dan Newspaper, the following topics: Party building and propaganda topics of the press; how to correctly and accurately determine the topics of press works; methods of presenting press works for the Golden Hammer and Sickle Press Award; "dryness" when writing entries for the Golden Hammer and Sickle contest - practical aspects and solutions.

Also during the training, Ms. Phan Phuong Quyen discussed directly with the trainees about the difficulties and solutions when creating works on Party building and participating in the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award in 2024.
