Training on software application "Binh Thuan Digital Agriculture"

BTO-To strongly promote the application of digital transformation in agriculture, the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center has just organized a training course on applying the software " Binh Thuan Digital Agriculture" in electronic diary recording to serve product traceability.

Attending the training course were representatives of the Agricultural Technical and Service Center and the VietGAP Dragon Fruit Consulting Team of Tuy Phong, Bac Binh, Ham Thuan Nam, Ham Thuan Bac, Ham Tan, Duc Linh, Tanh Linh districts, La Gi town and Phan Thiet city; community agricultural extension teams of some communes in the province, and representatives of Phu Long VietGAP Vegetable Cooperative and Ham Phu Organic Agriculture Cooperative (Ham Thuan Bac).

At the training class, the lecturer instructed on how to use Binh Thuan digital agriculture software on mobile phones, including steps to register an account and install the software. Through the software, people and cooperatives can declare information about production batches and products; record logs and output fluctuations; use the traceability function and be guided on how to end the production season, continue to record logs, etc.

According to the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center, in 2023, with support from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center has built a product traceability system that tracks the carbon footprint of dragon fruit trees, and at the same time expanded many training courses for farmers, cooperatives, and businesses in the province. In addition, the center has expanded the traceability software to other crops (cultivation sector), and has integrated an APP on two operating systems IOS and Android called: BINH THUAN DIGITAL AGRICULTURE. At the same time, the unit continues to build and complete instructional videos and post them on the YouTube channel "BINH THUAN AGRICULTURE EXTENSION" for people and cooperatives to grasp and widely deploy.

According to the plan, in the coming time, the Agricultural Extension Center will continue to open direct and online training classes, instruct many technical clips on YouTube channel... for community agricultural extension groups on digital transformation and improving the production of VietGAP dragon fruit...
