Focus on resolving problems related to land

On July 28, Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a conference to review and evaluate the progress of site clearance and resettlement support for a number of projects.

Thai Nguyen province is implementing many important projects, such as: Construction of infrastructure for Song Cong II Industrial Park; construction of technical infrastructure for resettlement areas to serve site clearance for Song Cong II Industrial Park; construction of resettlement areas and workers' housing in Hong Tien ward (now Pho Yen ward) to serve Diem Thuy Industrial Park - Area A; construction of Hong Tien 2 resettlement area to serve site clearance for Diem Thuy Industrial Park - Area A...

At the Conference, localities reported on the progress of each project, pointing out difficulties and obstacles, such as: Some households did not agree on the compensation price for site clearance, did not agree with the resettlement plan; have not received compensation... At the same time, they proposed a number of solutions to speed up the progress of project implementation in the coming time.

Concluding the Conference, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Loan emphasized: Focusing on thoroughly resolving difficulties and obstacles in site clearance not only creates favorable conditions for investors, but also contributes to ensuring the legitimate rights of the people, promoting investment attraction and sustainable development. Therefore, the Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee requested communes and wards to immediately develop a Master Plan (according to current decentralization); assigning the Department of Agriculture and Environment to advise the Provincial People's Committee on a suitable land use allocation plan in August.

In addition, departments, branches and localities need to continue to closely coordinate with investors, focus on resolving difficulties, speed up site clearance in resettlement areas, facilitate the effective implementation of projects, and contribute to promoting the socio -economic development of the province.
