In communes across the province, the training on the process of reviewing poor and near-poor households has been basically completed. Communes have stepped up propaganda in many forms so that people know and provide full information to the reviewers, avoiding misidentification or omission, and accurately reflecting the actual situation of poor and near-poor households in each locality.
In village 8 (Ea Kiet commune), the review work has basically been completed. Ms. Dang Thi Lam, Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell, Head of village 8, said: At the beginning of 2025, the whole village had 8 poor households and 5 near-poor households. Through the review, by the end of the year, there were 4 poor households and 3 near-poor households. The review results honestly reflect the lives of the people and the reality of poor households, not omitting any poor or near-poor households, nor chasing after achievements to distort the reality of poor households in the village.

Mr. Bui Xuan Loi, a household that has just been recognized as having escaped poverty in village 8, shared: “In recent years, thanks to state resources, my family has worked hard to escape poverty. Recently, my family has been recognized as having escaped poverty. This is a motivation for the family to work hard, do business, stabilize their lives, and not fall back into poverty.”
According to the province's plan to review poor and near-poor households in 2025, reviewing poor and near-poor households is a regular task to evaluate the results of poverty reduction programs each year. Thereby, determining the number of households that have escaped poverty and near-poor, the number of newly poor households, the number of households that have returned to poverty and near-poor as a basis for implementing poverty reduction policies for the following year.
