After more than 2 days of receiving and monitoring, the authorities determined that the turtle was completely healthy and capable of finding its own food, so they released it back into its natural habitat at Trap Kso Ornamental Species Conservation Area (Krong Nang Commune). Immediately after being released, the golden mountain turtle quickly integrated and adapted to natural conditions.

Previously, on August 19, the Golden Mountain Turtle was received by the People's Committee of Pong Drang Commune and the Ea H'leo Regional Forest Protection Department from Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Nam (born in 1989), residing in Buon Ho Ward, while he was working in the fields in Village 3, Pong Drang Commune.
