- On April 7, the Women's Union of Cho Moi district led a working delegation to visit and present gifts to soldiers on duty at Lac Quoi Border Post, and also presented gifts to union members, poor women, and those in difficult circumstances in Lac Quoi commune (Tri Ton district).

Also joining the delegation were representatives of the An Giang Provincial Women's Union and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong, Vinh Quang Oriental Medicine Company Limited, Head of the Cho Moi District Health Dance Club.

Here, the Women's Union of Cho Moi district presented 30 gifts to poor female members in Lac Quoi commune, each worth 500,000 VND, including necessities, instant noodles and cash, all drawn from the "For friends in the army" fund. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong, representative of Dong Duoc Vinh Quang Company Limited, presented 10 gifts. Each gift worth 500,000 VND in cash to officers and soldiers of Lac Quoi Border Guard Station. The total value of the gift giving was 20 million VND.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Chairwoman of the Cho Moi District Women's Union Nguyen Thi Thu Hien said that this is a practical activity in the twinning program between Lac Quoi Border Guard Station and Cho Moi District units in the period of 2021 - 2026, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and International Labor Day (May 1). This program will continue to promote the patriotism and responsibility of women members in participating in protecting border security. At the same time, it encourages close coordination between all levels, sectors and forces to build strong border areas.
