After days of prolonged rain and floods, Que Phuoc commune was submerged in mud, many houses were still in disarray, and people's lives were extremely difficult. The whole commune has more than 3,300 households with 14,000 people, of which over 3,000 households were affected; many houses were completely collapsed, and property was severely damaged. Tu Nhu village alone was isolated for many days, having to use boats to transport food and drinking water.
During that difficult time, the soldiers of Brigade 574 braved the rain and mud to help people, becoming a solid support, adding faith and warmth to the local people.

Immediately after receiving the order, Brigade 574 quickly mobilized its forces and vehicles, stabilized its accommodation and immediately began the task of supporting people in overcoming the consequences of floods. Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Nam Thanh, Deputy Political Commissar of the Brigade, on behalf of the Military Region 5 Command, presented 2 tons of rice, 1.5 tons of dry food, 400 liters of fish sauce and cooking oil, 130 kg of salt, MSG, banh chung, soft drinks and 150 gift bags including instant noodles, cakes, milk... to isolated households, especially policy families, poor households and lonely elderly people.
In adverse weather conditions, many roads were deeply flooded and had landslides, officers and soldiers of Brigade 574 tried to reach each residential area and deliver relief goods to people in isolated areas.

The image of Uncle Ho's soldiers was once again engraved in the hearts of the people - a symbol of loyalty, responsibility and steadfast faith.
