Young talent Alexa Pino scored an impressive hat-trick to help the Philippines women's team secure a resounding victory over Malaysia.

Entering the decisive match, the Philippines clearly demonstrated their determination to compete for a place among the top two teams in the group. From the opening whistle, the Philippine women's team deployed a high-speed attacking game. Their quick passes, flexible short passes, and constant pressure caused confusion in the Malaysian defense, often forcing them into a passive defensive position.

That pressure was quickly materialized with the opening goal, setting the stage for a dominant performance that lasted throughout the match. The Philippines completely controlled the midfield, enjoyed majority possession, and consistently launched sharp attacks from both flanks and the center.

The spotlight of the match belonged to Alexa Pino, the rising star of Philippine football. With his superior speed and intelligent positioning, Pino constantly created dangerous situations in front of the Malaysian goal.

She scored an impressive hat-trick, each goal showcasing decisiveness and finesse in crucial situations. This outstanding performance not only helped the Philippine women's team defeat all opponents but also affirmed Pino's growing importance in the Philippine team's playing style at this year's SEA Games.

Besides Pino, three other players, Jessika Cowart, Ariana Markey, and Anicka Castaneda, also scored, bringing the total to six goals. The diversity in their attacking play left the Malaysian women's team with almost no chance to retaliate. Malaysia's attempts to defend deep were not enough to stop the overall strength displayed by the Philippines throughout the match.

This resounding victory not only secured the Philippines three points but also solidified their position as a strong contender for the gold medal. Their modern playing style, youthful and fast-paced squad, and strong teamwork are becoming the foundation for the Philippines' continued strong performance at the 33rd SEA Games.

Meanwhile, Malaysia finished the group stage with a disappointing result. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to spring any surprises against an opponent superior in physique, fitness, technique, and pace of play.

Starting lineup:

Filipino Women: Olivia Davies, Long Moriah, Cesar Louise, Rebecca, Katrina, Marie, Kristine, Beard Racheel, Isabella, Ramirez Louise, Pino Marie

Malaysian women: Ezza Ashikin, Juliana, Nurfaizah, Haindee, Su Yin, Syafiqah, Fariza, Amirah, Nurhadfina, Ainsyah, Lyana.

Final score: Philippines Women 6-0 Malaysia Women.
