The vocalist of the band Ngọt confirmed that he will perform again when his health recovers.

Talking about the cancellation of the remaining shows (Dreamy Cities and Cam), Thang shared:   "I also want to perform the shows I promised, but my mental health is really not good. I will perform for everyone after I recover."

Regarding the copyright issue, Thang said that while waiting, artists can perform any song he writes, even for commercial purposes. They do not need to share or ask for permission, they can support the author freely. The male artist born in 1995 also affirmed that he will perform to compensate but not as a member of the Sweet band.

Thang (Ngọt)'s announcement once again caused controversy from the audience. Many opinions said that there must be a hidden story behind the end of the most famous indie band in Vietnam. Besides, many people are also worried about Vu Dinh Ngoc Thang's health, hoping that he will soon stabilize and have more new artistic creations in the future. Dan Viet reporter contacted Thang, but he refused to answer questions at this time.

Previously, on the afternoon of March 19, the band Ngọt suddenly shared: "Ngọt officially stops performing from today. Thank you very much! A very meaningful journey. We will continue to produce Ngọt's final album." The information caused a stir on a series of forums, making music lovers regretful.

Ngọt is a pop rock band founded in 2013, consisting of 4 members: Vu Dinh Trong Thang (vocals, guitar), Phan Viet Hoang (bass guitar), Nguyen Hung Nam Anh (drums) and Hoang Chi Trung (keyboard). The band soon made a name for itself in the underground music community nationwide and through many recordings on social networks, gradually becoming one of the prominent artists in the indie music scene in Vietnam.

In 2016, Ngọt released their debut album, which was titled after the band, and included a collection of their most popular songs. In September 2017, Ngọt released their second album, Ng`bthg . There, the single Em ngày nay, taken from the album, received positive reviews from fans and experts, helping the band win the Devotion Music Award for Song of the Year as well as New Artist of the Year at the 13th awards ceremony in 2018.

At the end of 2022, Ngọt released their fourth studio album titled Gieo with 11 new songs. The album cover design was done by graphic artist Duy Dao, and was nominated for a Grammy for best album design. Duy Dao also became the first Vietnamese artist to be nominated for a Grammy.
