Thanh Hoa passed 16 resolutions on economic development.

After 2 days of urgent and serious work, with a democratic spirit and high responsibility, the 20th session of the 18th Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Council ended successfully.

At the meeting, delegates unanimously passed 16 resolutions on socio -economic development, development investment plans and capital allocation, mechanisms, policies, investment policies for projects, annual resolution groups and other contents.

Comrade Do Minh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, spoke to receive the explanation.

Speaking on receiving and explaining the opinions and recommendations, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province Do Minh Tuan affirmed that these are very accurate and enthusiastic opinions and recommendations, with a very high sense of responsibility of the delegates, voters and people in the province, for the development of the province.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province seriously received all the opinions and recommendations of the delegates, voters and people in the province. Among them, many issues have been and are being implemented step by step effectively; but there are also issues that need to be further studied, with appropriate and effective solutions to focus on solving and overcoming in the coming time, both in the short and long term. At the same time, analyzed the groups of opinions and recommendations of voters and delegates of the Provincial People's Council that were sent to the meeting on production development; resource management and environmental protection; culture - society ; mechanisms, policies; security - order, social safety and some other issues.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province stated: "The remaining tasks of 2024 are extremely heavy, of great importance to the completion of the goals and tasks of the whole year and the 5-year plan 2021 - 2025, requiring all levels, sectors, localities and units to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, dynamism, creativity, not to retreat in the face of difficulties and challenges, and to be determined to achieve the set goals and tasks."

Based on the review and discussion of reports, submissions and draft resolutions submitted by the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee to the session, the Provincial People's Council passed 16 resolutions on socio-economic development, on development investment plans and capital allocation, on mechanisms, policies, on investment policies for projects, on annual resolution groups and other important contents.

The adoption of resolutions not only helps to remove institutional and legal bottlenecks, but also "clears the way" for policies and guidelines to be quickly realized, creating momentum to promote socio-economic growth.

Provincial Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Do Trong Hung delivered a closing speech at the meeting.

In his closing speech at the meeting, comrade Do Trong Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, highly appreciated and warmly commended the efforts of the Provincial People's Committee, all levels, branches, the Fatherland Front, organizations, armed forces, business community and people of all ethnic groups in the province that have contributed to the results achieved in the past 6 months.

Sticking to the 2024 working theme "Discipline - Responsibility - Action - Creativity - Development", the People's Council of Thanh Hoa province requires branches, localities and units to concentrate highly to resolutely, synchronously and effectively implement the tasks and solutions set out by the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee, determined to overcome all difficulties and obstacles, strive to complete and over-fulfill the province's socio-economic development goals for 2024.

At the Session, based on the tasks and powers prescribed by law, the Provincial People's Council passed a Resolution on implementing the thematic supervision conclusion "The implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction from 2021 to 2023 in Thanh Hoa province"; at the same time, appropriate time was spent to question the Director of the Department of Finance, the Director of the Department of Science and Technology and on issues of concern to voters and people under the responsibility of the State management agency.
