Young man found dead hanging under Can Tho bridge

On May 13, Binh Minh Town Police (Vinh Long) coordinated with professional units to clarify the case of a young man who died by hanging under Can Tho Bridge (in My Hoa Commune).

At around 6am the same day, people discovered a young man hanging from a tree under Can Tho Bridge and shouted for help. Upon receiving the report, Binh Minh Town Police arrived at the scene. Through initial verification, the young man was LKP (24 years old, residing in Phong Dien District, Can Tho City).

Locals said that about 2 days ago, Mr. P. went to a coffee shop near Can Tho Bridge to complain and wanted to jump off the bridge to commit suicide, but was stopped. Mr. P. said he left home to wander around and wanted to commit suicide because of a "broken heart".

The security camera of a coffee shop near the scene recorded Mr. P. walking past the shop at 5:00 a.m. the same day.
