Vietnamese and Chinese youth meet, share ideals and development experiences

The program is organized according to the 2025 foreign affairs plan of the Central Youth Union, approved by the Standing Committee of the Central Party Secretariat; at the same time, it aims to implement the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth Union of China for the period 2024 - 2027.

This year's program has the theme "Vietnamese-Chinese Youth: Firmly upholding ideals". The Chinese youth delegation consists of 100 delegates, expected to be led by the First Secretary of the Central Secretariat of the Communist Youth League of China.

The activities in the program will take place in the capital Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City and the two provinces of Quang Ninh and Ninh Binh. The opening ceremony will take place on the morning of April 14 in Hanoi.

The delegation will be divided into two groups with the main activities: paying courtesy visits to leaders of the Party and State of Vietnam; talks between the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Youth Union; and the Forum "Vietnamese - Chinese Youth: Firmly upholding ideals".

The youth delegations of the two countries will discuss and exchange experiences on the following issues: youth theory work; youth solidarity, gathering and building of Youth Union and Association organizations; youth participation in socio-economic development and digital transformation. Along with that, the delegates will visit some models of Vietnamese youth; visit local historical sites and scenic spots...

"Vietnam - China Youth Friendship Meeting" is an activity organized alternately by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth Union of China since 2000. Up to now, the program has entered its 24th implementation.
