Speaking at the opening of the conference, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh, Chairman of the Hanoi Association of Former Youth Volunteers, said that the Youth Volunteers is an organization assigned by Uncle Ho to the Vietnam National Salvation Youth Union to establish 75 years ago. With the slogan "Live on the bridge, on the road, die steadfastly and bravely", the Hanoi Youth Volunteers overcame all hardships, deprivations, and dangers, together with other forces, cutting mountains, opening roads, filling thousands of bomb craters, ensuring the lifeline of wartime traffic...
At the conference, delegates spoke out affirming the contributions of former Vietnamese Youth Volunteers in general and former Hanoi Youth Volunteers in particular. The war has long since ended, but the noble qualities of the former Youth Volunteers still shine in today's life.

Speaking at the conference, recognizing the great contributions of the Youth Volunteer Force, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Doan Toan affirmed that the victory of our army and people in the resistance war against the US for national salvation was the greatest achievement in the cause of national liberation and defense of the Fatherland led by the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh; a glorious and brilliant page in the history of building and defending the country for thousands of years of the nation.
We have completed the glorious historical mission of completely liberating the South, unifying the country, opening a new era for the nation - the era of independence, unity and together building a Vietnam of rich people, strong country, democratic, fair and civilized society. To create these brilliant pages of history, there is a great contribution from the Vietnamese Youth Volunteer Force in general and the Capital Youth Volunteer Force in particular.
The Capital Youth Volunteer Force has constantly trained and heroically sacrificed in combat, contributing to the nation's historical miracles. In peacetime, continuing to promote the spirit of initiative and creativity, generations of former Capital Youth Volunteers have overcome difficulties, helped each other to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, stabilized their lives, and contributed to the overall development of the Capital.
Providing more information about the situation of the Capital, the Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee said that the city has been actively implementing the 2024 Capital Law, promoting outstanding and specific mechanisms and policies in practice, especially effectively removing "bottlenecks" and "bottlenecks", freeing up resources, promoting the strong development of the city associated with organizing the implementation of the Hanoi Capital Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050; Adjusting the Hanoi Capital Master Plan to 2045, with a vision to 2065.
