Hue City gives gifts to people and schools in Khanh Hoa affected by floods

On the morning of December 2, a working delegation from Hue City led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, along with representatives of the People's Committee of Hung Loc Commune, Hue City, visited and provided support to people and students who suffered heavy losses in the recent floods in Dien Khanh Commune and Bac Nha Trang Ward.

Accordingly, the delegation presented 312 million VND in support to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Khanh commune. At the reception, comrade Nguyen Thi Ai Van said that in recent days, the Party Committee, government and people of Hue city have always followed and supported the people of localities that suffered heavy losses due to natural disasters. To share the difficulties of Khanh Hoa , the people and officials of Hung Loc commune, Hue city promptly mobilized donations of the above funds with the desire to provide practical support, contributing to helping people in Dien Khanh commune to soon overcome the consequences of natural disasters, stabilize their lives and restore production.

The delegation also visited, encouraged and presented 50 million VND to Dien An Kindergarten (Dien Khanh commune); thereby expressing the wish that the school continue to overcome difficulties, maintain teaching quality and take better care of the children.

On this occasion, the delegation visited people affected by floods in Bac Nha Trang ward. Here, the delegation presented 20 gifts to near-poor households, each worth 2 million VND.
