Ninh Binh City installs road signs on some main roads and residential areas.

On December 14, the People's Committee of Ninh Binh city held a conference to inform about the installation of road signs in some areas in the city to ensure urban order and traffic safety.

Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh City People's Committee Vu Hoai Chuong announced the plan to install road signs in some areas in the area, including 2 groups. Group 1: Install road signs on some main roads. Group 2: Install road signs for some residential areas.

For the main roads, Ninh Binh city will install road signs on 3 main roads: Tue Tinh road (from Truong Han Sieu street to alley 130 Tue Tinh street, Nam Thanh ward); Dong Phuong Hong road (from Dao Duy Tu street to alley 197 Dinh Tien Hoang street, Dong Thanh ward); Dinh Tat Mien road (from Dinh Tien Hoang street to Dong Phuong Hong street, Dong Thanh ward).

Dinh Tat Mien Street (section from Dinh Tien Hoang Street to Dong Phuong Hong Street, Dong Thanh Ward) is expected to install additional road signs.

Accordingly, Tue Tinh and Dinh Tat Mien streets will prohibit stopping and parking for motor vehicles on all days of the week.

Particularly for Dong Phuong Hong Street, stopping and parking of motor vehicles will be prohibited from 6:00 to 7:30 and from 16:30 to 18:00 every day from Monday to Friday. At the same time, on Dao Duy Tu Street, signs prohibiting left turns, no right turns, and cars from entering Dong Phuong Hong Street will be installed. Only the direction from lane 197 Dinh Tien Hoang Street to Dao Duy Tu Street will be allowed.

For residential areas, Ninh Binh city will install road signs for residential areas in Yet Kieu street and Bach Dang street, Nam Thanh ward. When implementing this plan, all trucks with a carrying capacity of over 1.25 tons will be banned from entering residential areas in Yet Kieu street and Bach Dang street, Nam Thanh ward (surrounded by the following streets: Tue Tinh, 30/6, Phan Chu Trinh, Truong Han Sieu). The ban will be on all days of the week.

However, some cases are licensed to operate within the prohibited area as follows: Trucks with a load capacity of over 1.25 tons are allowed to operate within the prohibited area such as: Garbage trucks; street sweepers; trucks carrying clean water for daily use; watering trucks; vehicles repairing electrical and telecommunications systems; postal vehicles; tankers carrying fresh concrete, fresh concrete pumping trucks; vehicles carrying materials to serve construction works within the prohibited area; vehicles carrying equipment for programs, activities, political , cultural, and sports events of the province or city; vehicles serving funerals and weddings; empty vehicles returning to parking lots in the area.

In case an organization, individual or household has other necessary matters, they must ask for permission from the local ward People's Committee and be granted a certificate of permission to operate within the prohibited area.

The Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh City People's Committee affirmed: The installation of road signs in some areas in Ninh Binh City to perform the State management function of protecting road traffic infrastructure, ensuring urban order and traffic safety, ensuring people's lives and activities is very necessary and urgent.
