Thanh Phuoc actively responds to the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses

Building a charity house for Mr. Ngo Tuan Khanh, Tan Long hamlet, Thanh Phuoc commune.

Mr. Khanh's charity house is built with walls, cement floor, corrugated iron roof with an area of ​​50m2 , worth 75.5 million VND. This is the amount of money mobilized by Venerable Thich Phuoc Minh - abbot of Tan Linh pagoda (Thanh Phuoc commune), in response to the open letter of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Phuoc commune on the policy of "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in 2025.

According to a survey by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Phuoc Commune, the commune has 13 households with temporary houses that need to be eliminated by 2025, of which 10 houses need to be rebuilt and 3 houses need to be repaired. Implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the first phase of 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune mobilized support to start construction on 3/13 houses with a total value of 165.5 million VND. Of which, 1 house in Phuoc Thanh Hamlet was repaired and 2 new houses were built in Tan Long Hamlet. In the near future, the commune will continue to start construction on 2 charity houses in Phuoc Binh Hamlet and Phuoc Loi Hamlet.

Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Phuoc Commune, Le Thi Hong Xa, shared: After the commune launched the policy of "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", Venerable Thich Phuoc Minh - abbot of Tan Linh Pagoda and a number of philanthropists enthusiastically contributed support. According to the plan, Thanh Phuoc will continue to mobilize each household to contribute 100,000 VND and mobilize philanthropists and benefactors to support the completion of the remaining 10/13 charity houses for households with housing difficulties in 2025.

Previously, in 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Phuoc commune achieved many results in social security work. Regarding the work of preventing drought and salinity in the dry season, it organized in-depth propaganda throughout 92/92 self-managed people's groups; operated 4 RO water purifiers and 14 free water supply points for people to get fresh water at free water supply points; received support sources of fresh water tanks, drinking water, cash, food, vegetables, fruits... distributed to people in the commune (total cost of more than 1.12 billion VND).

The Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thanh Phuoc commune also mobilized people to contribute cash, give gifts, provide free medical examination and treatment for the poor, and build 3 "Comradely Love" houses and charity houses... with a total value of over 825 million VND.
