According to Vu Tuan Dat, Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen So Ward, the sports and physical education movement is the "glue" that binds the community together after administrative reorganization, fostering a civilized lifestyle and a safe and healthy environment; thereby contributing to building a sustainable and modern Yen So.
Over the years, the physical training movement in the ward has continued to develop; sports clubs and teams have maintained effective operations; and a high percentage of residents regularly participate in physical exercise.
The大会 (congress/tournament) is an opportunity for athletes to interact, learn, and compete fairly, with solidarity and sportsmanship; and at the same time, to select outstanding athletes to represent Yen So ward at the City-level Sports Festival in the near future.

Due to the specialized nature of the Games, some events commenced on October 18, 2025, with the program running continuously until the end of October 2025. The Games attracted over 1,000 athletes competing in 10 sports: volleyball, table tennis, football, athletics, chess, Chinese chess, aerobics, tug-of-war, and badminton. The Organizing Committee developed a scientifically planned competition schedule, ensuring safety, fairness, and transparency, while also creating favorable conditions for the public and spectators to cheer on and motivate the athletes.

Comrade Vu Tuan Dat urged the athletes to compete with the highest determination, strictly abide by the regulations, and demonstrate the spirit of "Faster - Higher - Stronger - More United." He also requested the Referee Committee to work objectively, fairly, and accurately; and the Organizing Committee to provide thorough, safe, and professional service so that the Games would be a great success.
Following the ceremonial and festive activities, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes in several disciplines, including aerobics, chess, and Chinese chess, to outstanding teams and individuals.
