For the second consecutive match, Japan's Gunma Green Wings Club won the National Women's Volleyball Championship (SV League) thanks to Thanh Thuy's impressive performance.

A day before, Thanh Thuy played explosively, scoring 21 points in 4 games to help Gunma Green Wings defeat PFU Blue Cats with a score of 3-1 in round 5 of the SV League. And according to the format of this volleyball tournament, the two teams will meet again in round 6 this afternoon.

The rematch was more difficult for Thanh Thuy and her teammates. They were twice led by PFU Blue Cats in the first and third games (lost 21-25, 16-25), before they equalized with scores of 25-22, 25-22 in games 2 and 4.

In the deciding game, Gunma Green Wings won 15-12 to complete an impressive comeback.

Although not as explosive as in the 5th round match, Thanh Thuy still played very well in this match when she scored a total of 23 points over 5 games.

Thanh Thuy is still one of the two stars who scored the most points for Gunma Green Wings in this match, alongside foreign player Rozanski (37 points). And after 6 matches, the Vietnamese girl has scored 99 points for Gunma Green Wings.

Two consecutive wins over PFU Blue Cats also helped Thanh Thuy dominate an interesting match with Thatdao Nuekjang, a veteran athlete of the Thai team.

Thatdao is 31 years old this year and can no longer hold an official position in the PFU Blue Cats squad.

She only played in 2 games in the first match (1-3 loss) of PFU Blue Cats, scoring only 3 points. In today's match, Thatdao was not even allowed to play.

With this victory, CLBU Gunma Green Wings temporarily rose to 7th place on the SV League rankings with 3 wins after 6 rounds.

This is the 7th foreign club Thanh Thuy has played for in her career. In 2015, the girl from Binh Duong went abroad for the first time, playing for Bangkok Glass of Thailand.

Next, Thanh Thuy continued to play for the clubs Attack Line VC (Taiwan), Denso Airybees (Japan), PFU Blue Cats (Japan), Kuzeyboru (Türkiye), then Gresik (Indonesia).

At the age of 28, Thanh Thuy's time to play at her peak is clearly running out. Therefore, most volleyball fans in the country are hoping that the "golden girl" can shine in this trip abroad.
