Paragliding, jet skiing, canoeing, jetboarding, flyboarding, sailing, etc. performances will take place on the evenings of April 29 and 30 on the Saigon River (from Ba Son Bridge to Nha Rong Wharf).
These unique water sports performances were performed by the Ho Chi Minh City Aquatic Sports Center. According to Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Hue, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Aquatic Sports Center, the participating forces have been practicing hard for many days. The organizing committee has also coordinated with other units to practice thoroughly, making careful preparations from logistics, techniques, rescue to ensuring waterway security.
The athletes demonstrated excellent skills, combined with a spectacular light, music and fireworks display that captivated the audience on the evening of April 26. According to the plan, the athletes will continue to practice and perform special acts on the evening of April 29 before launching the entire program with many highlights on the evening of April 30. The splendid high-speed canoe parade with torches and flares, the special performances of typical athletes associated with water sports (former swimmers Nguyen Kieu Oanh, Nguyen Thi Anh Vien, national swimmer Jérémie Luong, triathlon athlete Lam Quang Nhat, rowing athlete Ho Thi Ly), the impressive group performance with the effect of a giant national flag, LED-lit armor, fireworks, colored smoke and vibrant background music, all promise an explosive night in the overall performance of Ho Chi Minh City's water sports.

Chosen as the background music for the program, familiar songs such as "Dong mau Lac Hong", "Mot vong Viet Nam", "Hello Ho Chi Minh City"... will certainly echo in the city's sky with the response of the public, stirring up the heroic and exciting spirit, contributing to creating an artistic space that is both modern and imbued with national identity on the Saigon River.
"Fireworks will be combined with colored smoke to create visual effects as well as an artistic LED lighting system to create a sparkling effect on the water stage. The water sports performance event is part of a series of activities with the theme "Colors of Uncle Ho's City" with the highlight being the "Unification of the Country" festival on the night of April 30, not only bringing eye-catching performances but also telling a story through images and music, expressing the youth, national pride and aspirations of Ho Chi Minh City in the new era" - Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Hue emphasized.
