Tens of thousands more apartments in Ho Chi Minh City have had their pink books issued unstuck.

(NLDO) - After 3 months of operation, Working Group 5013 of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has resolved difficulties to issue pink books for tens of thousands of apartments in dozens of projects.

Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Toan Thang - Head of the Working Group to resolve issues related to the issuance of certificates of land use rights and ownership of assets attached to land (pink books) for organizations and individuals in commercial housing development projects in the area (Working Group 5013) - has just reported to the City People's Committee on the results of removing obstacles to issue pink books for commercial housing projects.

Ho Chi Minh City authorities have removed obstacles to carry out procedures for granting pink books for dozens of commercial housing projects in the area.

Accordingly, after 3 months, for the first group of projects (81,085 apartments in 335 projects), the authorities have resolved problems for 43,121/81,085 apartments.

For the second group (projects that have been granted investment and construction licenses and are in the process of handling procedures for granting pink books), the standing agency of Task Force 5013, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, has organized 12 meetings to resolve difficulties for 66 commercial housing development projects in the area with a total of 37,214 apartments and houses.

Preliminary statistics of results after 3 months of operation, Task Force 5013 has removed obstacles to carry out procedures for granting pink books to home buyers at 41/66 projects with the number of real estate products removed to supply the market being 27,575 apartments/houses/land plots/officetels; 655 parking spaces; 1 property attached to land; 15 floors for construction of commercial service buildings.

Working Group 5013 identified 7 main groups of problems, including: legal regulations related to procedures for handling the issuance of pink books to home buyers at projects; implementation of the investor's obligations regarding social housing regulation at the project; the need to fulfill additional financial obligations of the project investor; the project is in the process of conducting investigation, implementing inspection conclusions and implementing court judgments; technical infrastructure and social infrastructure at the project have not been handed over to local management; reviewing the project's legality; administrative violations of construction order.
