In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, the artists and writers heard stories about the Liberation Army's tenacious battles and the 1972 general offensive as a strategic preparation for the victorious spring of 1975.
Most of the artists expressed their emotions. Artist Le Trinh (Sen Viet Stage) said: “This is the first time I have participated in a trip back to the source with the artists I respect very much. They are role models, guiding our generation to follow. On the first day I came to this land with them, I had more opportunities to summarize for myself many materials in the acting profession, to more confidently portray the characters of revolutionary heroes.”
The location of the day was Phuong Hoang airport (Buon Ma Thuot, Dak Lak ) - which used to be the main air base of the Saigon government in the Central Highlands. The victory of Buon Ma Thuot on March 10, 1975 opened the Central Highlands campaign, creating a strategic turning point in the General Offensive and Uprising in the Spring of that year.

The stories here are not only history, but also living material for literature and art.”
