Candidates note the conditions for taking the high school graduation exam in 2025

This year's high school graduation exam will take place on June 26 and 27. According to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , candidates can register for the exam within 8 days, from April 21 to April 17, 28.

On the first day (April 21), nearly 286,000 candidates successfully registered for the high school graduation exam.

To ensure your rights, as well as limit errors and confusion in the exam registration process in the remaining days, candidates should pay attention to the subjects and conditions for taking the 2025 high school graduation exam according to the regulations of the Ministryof Education and Training.

Accordingly, this year's high school graduation exam has four types of candidates, including: First , candidates who have completed the general education/continuing education program in the year the exam is held; second, candidates who have completed the general education/continuing education program but have not graduated from high school in previous years; third, candidates who have a high school diploma taking the exam to use the results as the basis for registration for admission; fourth, candidates who have a secondary school diploma taking the exam to use the results as the basis for registration for admission.

Regarding the exam conditions, the Ministry of Education and Training noted that candidates must register for the exam and submit all documents on time. Candidates must ensure that they have studied and passed the required amount of high school cultural knowledge according to the provisions of the Education Law and current guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Training.

During the registration process, candidates wishing to apply for university or college admission must declare complete and correct information on the software with evidence to enjoy priority in university or college admission.
