High School Graduation Exam 2025: Exam questions will be printed on A3 paper size

The 2025 High School Graduation Exam will be printed on A3 paper instead of A4 paper as in previous years. This is the information just announced by Professor Huynh Van Chuong, Director of the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training this morning, May 27, at the Conference on training in inspection and examination of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam. The conference was organized by the Ministry of Education and Training in Hanoi.

Mr. Chuong said that in previous years, the exam was printed on A4 size, so each exam usually had 4 to 5 pages, causing many difficulties in printing and the risk of missing pages. Therefore, changing the exam to A3 size will make printing easier, minimizing the risk due to the reduction in the number of pages.

The 2025 High School Graduation Exam will take place on June 26 and 27. This is the first year of graduation exams under the new 2018 general education program. Therefore, in order to ensure fairness for candidates studying under the 2006 program for graduation or university admission, the Ministry of Education and Training will organize two separate exams according to two programs for two groups of candidates. Candidates taking the 2006 program will take the exam at separate testing locations.

According to statistics from the Ministry ofEducation and Training, this year's exam has more than 1.16 million candidates registered to take the exam, an increase of about 100,000 students compared to 2024, of which about 25,000 students will take the exam according to the 2006 program./.
