According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, during the day and night of April 14, many areas will have thunderstorms, with the possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind in the South Central, Central Highlands and Southern regions. In the North, the weather will be cold in the morning and at night with temperatures in the highlands below 14 degrees Celsius in some places.

Meteorological experts warn that low temperatures will have a negative impact on health. People need to know how to keep warm and protect themselves and their families from the cold. To prevent illness when the weather changes, people should wear enough warm clothes, avoid windy places... For the elderly, avoid sudden changes in temperature such as running from a warm house to a cold outside...

People with special jobs that require them to work outdoors in the cold need to wear more clothes to limit skin exposure to cold environments.

Head of the Weather Forecast Department, National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting Nguyen Van Huong warned that thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind pose a potential risk to people's lives and property. Tornadoes often occur with strong thunderstorms. When there are warnings of thunderstorms, people should take shelter in safe places in solidly built structures.

The Hydrometeorological Agency noted that people need to regularly monitor forecast and warning information on the website of the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting at nchmf.gov.vn, provincial, municipal and regional Hydrometeorological Stations, and regularly update the latest hydrometeorological forecast information on the official mass media of the Central and local levels to proactively respond to the above weather patterns.
