(PLVN) - According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today, the Northern region will have showers and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing heavy to very heavy rain.

The Hydro-Meteorological Agency forecasts that on April 25, in the Northern region, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall of 15-30mm, and some places over 80mm.

In addition, in the afternoon and evening of April 25, in the Central Highlands and the South, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 10-30mm, in some places over 60mm.

Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rains may cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas.
