The People's Committee of Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi has just released official information about the drone crash incident that caused a fire at the rehearsal of the art program "Brilliant Thang Long 2025".
The People's Committee of Nam Tu Liem District said that on the evening of January 26 (December 27), the organizing committee conducted a general review, inspection, and evaluation of the content, art, techniques, weather factors, and safety plans for the "Brilliant Thang Long 2025" art program.
During the test flight of the pyrotechnic drone, due to technical factors, some devices fell onto the vacant lot, setting the dry grass on fire.

"This is a situation that has been included in the safety plan of the organizing committee, so the authorities promptly extinguished the fire, without any loss of life or property," the People's Committee of Nam Tu Liem district informed, adding that the organizing committee will continue to review, evaluate, and consider factors to decide on organizing the program to ensure safety.
The art program "Brilliant Thang Long 2025" will officially take place on the evening of January 28 (New Year's Eve 2025) at My Dinh Square, My Dinh National Stadium (Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi).
The show is performed with 2,025 pyrotechnic drones (unmanned aerial vehicles), combining light technology and artistic fireworks. After the pyrotechnic drone show, there will be a high-altitude fireworks display at the exact moment of New Year's Eve to welcome the Spring of At Ty 2025.
