Letter of congratulations on Buddha's Birthday, Buddhist calendar 2569

On the occasion of the Buddha's Birthday 2569 - Gregorian calendar 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city respectfully sends to the Venerable Sangha, monks and nuns, and all Buddhists in the city wishes for health, peace and success in all Buddhist activities.

This year, Vietnamese Buddhism is honored to be the host country of the fourth United Nations Day of Vesak - Vesak 2025, held at the Vietnam Buddhist Academy (Ho Chi Minh City), with the theme: "Harmony and inclusion for human dignity: Buddhist wisdom for world peace and sustainable development". This is a religious and cultural event of profound international significance, demonstrating the position and increasingly strong role of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in contributing to building a peaceful, compassionate, empathetic and sustainable world.

In Da Nang city, in recent years, monks, nuns and Buddhists have actively participated in patriotic emulation movements, responded to sustainable urban development programs, maintained security and order, protected the environment, cared for social security and built a civilized urban lifestyle. Many pagodas have been renovated and built spaciously; charitable activities, Buddhisteducation , and guidance for young Buddhists have been organized effectively and are increasingly widespread. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city respectfully commends and acknowledges these valuable contributions, considering them a testament to the city's active spirit of engagement in the world and accompanying the nation.

The Christmas season has come again, I respectfully wish all monks, nuns, laypeople and all Buddhists in the city to continue to walk firmly on the path of studying and practicing, promoting the moral, intellectual and compassionate values of Buddhism; together with all classes of people in the city, join hands to build Da Nang to be more civilized, friendly, modern, sustainably developed and prosperous.
