This is one of the few public universities that publicly discloses the detailed monthly income of each individual, including the university's leadership.
The income of school leaders ranges from 19.9 to 28.8 million VND.
Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine recently published the complete monthly salary and allowance payment schedule for over 900 faculty members, staff, and workers on the university's official website.
According to the publicly available salary scale, in August 2025, the total income of the members of the school's management board and the chairman of the school council ranged from 19.9 to 28.8 million VND per person per month (excluding personal income tax).
Specifically, the Vice Principal in charge of school administration has the highest income among the school's management board, at 28.8 million VND. The other two Vice Principals receive incomes of 27.4 million and 24.6 million VND respectively.
The chairman of the school board, who is also the secretary of the school's Party Committee, earned 19.9 million VND per month.
Workers' incomes range from a minimum of over 2 million VND to a maximum of over 30 million VND.
For the faculty, staff, and workers of the school, income in August varied considerably, ranging from a minimum of over 2 million VND to a maximum of over 30 million VND per person per month.
The majority of employees at the school receive a common salary range of 9-12 million VND per month. Some lecturers and staff members earn 20 million VND or more.
Notably, there were cases where income exceeded 30 million VND in a month due to retroactive payment of salaries and allowances from previous months.
The total income of each employee includes: basic salary, allowances, and other supplementary income (if any).
Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine currently has a total of 919 staff and employees. In August 2025, the total amount the university paid for salaries, allowances, and supplementary income for all personnel was over 11.172 billion VND.

Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine is a public higher education institution within the national education system, directly managed by the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. Professionally, the university is guided by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Training.
The school exercises autonomy and accountability in accordance with the law regarding academic and professional activities, organizational structure and personnel, finance and assets, planning, and school development plans.
The school currently has a vacant principal position. Associate Professor, Doctor of Pharmacy Nguyen Dang Thoai is currently the Vice Principal in charge of school management and administration.
