At the National Museum of History, in the cool weather and bright morning light, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife invited Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru and his wife to enjoy typical dishes of Hanoi and Vietnam, as well as enjoy the taste of Vietnamese coffee. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife introduced Vietnamese culinary culture to Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru and his wife.

After breakfast and enjoying coffee, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife, along with Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru and his wife, visited the National Museum of History - a place with unique and romantic architecture combining East and West, preserving and conserving more than 200,000 documents and artifacts of Vietnamese history and culture, spanning from prehistoric times to the present, of which about 20 artifacts and documents are recognized as National Treasures.

The two Prime Ministers and their wives went back in time to the history of Vietnam, from prehistoric and ancient times to the Dong Son, Dong Nai - Oc Eo, Sa Huynh cultures... from the feudal dynasties of Vietnam to the modern era through artifacts that are hundreds, thousands, and tens of thousands of years old. The artifacts reflect the life, labor, production, and struggle to defend and build the country of the Vietnamese people, such as: ape teeth, human teeth, fossilized animal bones; stone, ceramic, and bronze tools; jewelry made of stone, ceramic, bronze, and silver; weapons of all kinds...

Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru and his wife expressed their admiration for the history of building and defending the country of the Vietnamese people over thousands of years, and at the same time recognized the cultural similarities between the two nations; believing that this is a source of pride and an important driving force for Vietnam to continue to grow and develop, with an increasingly high position in the region and on the international stage.

Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru once again thanked the Vietnamese leaders, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, the Government and people of Vietnam for their warm and respectful reception of the delegation; affirmed that Japan will continue to accompany Vietnam in the new era, supporting Vietnam in socio-economic development, building an independent and self-reliant economy, and industrializing and modernizing the country.
