Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inspects preparations for the Autumn Fair

On the evening of October 24, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh went to the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi) to inspect the preparations and attend the first rehearsal of the 2025 Autumn Fair.

Speaking at the rehearsal, the Prime Minister acknowledged the efforts and contributions of the units to organize the Autumn Fair - a meaningful event, demonstrating a spirit of deep connection.

"There is not much time left until the opening day. I ask the organizers and artists to continue to be creative and prepare well to bring an impressive fair that clearly demonstrates Vietnamese culture - rich in national identity, hospitable and peace- loving. Hanoi - the capital of conscience and human values ​​- needs to strive to make this event a proud highlight," the Prime Minister emphasized.

After watching all the performances at the rehearsal, he suggested that the organizers should pay more attention to international elements. For example, in addition to the Vietnamese presentation, there should be an English version running parallel so that international friends present at the event can easily follow and understand the content. Similarly, speeches can be in Vietnamese, but the subtitles should be displayed in English.

"Regarding presentation images, I see that graphics are being used quite a lot nowadays. Meanwhile, Vietnam has many beautiful natural landscapes, images of people blending with nature, and unique cultural values. Therefore, priority should be given to using real images, associated with intangible culture recognized by UNESCO such as Xam singing, Xoan singing, Quan Ho singing, or spirit possession rituals.

In addition, it is possible to incorporate images of Vietnamese world cultural celebrities such as Ho Xuan Huong, Hai Thuong Lan Ong, etc. This way, the images will be both vivid and honor national cultural values, while also strongly promoting Vietnamese identity to international friends," the Prime Minister emphasized.

For Hanoi, the most important requirement is to ensure absolute security, order and safety for the event. We need to learn from the recent program "80 years - Journey of Independence, Freedom, Happiness", where security work was carried out very well.

The concept of "safety" here needs to be understood comprehensively: security, social order, safety for residents and visitors, food safety, as well as fire safety and other public activities. All plans need to be carefully prepared and ready to respond to ensure the event takes place completely, safely and successfully.
