Vietnam demonstrates its role and responsibility in global issues
This morning, President Luong Cuong received the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation AV Gutsan. Mr. Gutsan led the Russian delegation to attend the signing ceremony of the Hanoi Convention.

President Luong Cuong affirmed that the participation of the Russian delegation is an important contribution to the overall success of the signing ceremony as well as Russia's support for multilateral activities hosted by Vietnam. The President highly appreciated Russia's role as the country that initially proposed the convention initiative.
The Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation said that the UN's choice of Hanoi as the venue for the signing ceremony of the convention shows its appreciation of Vietnam's constructive role and responsibility in global issues, especially promoting international cooperation in preventing and combating high-tech crimes.
President Luong Cuong affirmed that Vietnam always supports all efforts of the international community towards a world of peace, stability and development. In implementing its independent and autonomous foreign policy, Vietnam considers Russia one of its top priorities and wishes to consolidate and deepen the framework of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with Russia.
The President emphasized that the traditional friendship with a 75-year history, having gone through many ups and downs, and nurtured by many generations of senior leaders and people of the two countries, continues to reap many results.

The Australian Government always welcomes and welcomes Vietnamese students and researchers to study in Australia. Vietnam has the 4th largest number of students in Australia.

The Prime Minister said that the signing ceremony of the Hanoi Convention is an important international event and Vietnam is honored to host it. The Convention will create a new corridor and legal framework, helping member countries around the world join hands to fight cybercrime, contributing to ensuring global cyber security and safety.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his delight at the continued development of the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos. High-ranking leaders of the two countries regularly meet and exchange views at bilateral meetings as well as at regional and international forums.
In 2025, many key projects will be implemented as planned, meeting the set requirements. In particular, in the economic and trade fields, bilateral trade turnover in the first 9 months of this year reached 2.4 billion USD, up 57.1% over the same period last year.
Vietnam has consistently given top priority to the special "unique" relationship with Laos, and strongly and comprehensively supported Laos's efforts to protect, build, innovate and develop.
