Yen Khuong is a border commune of the old Lang Chanh district, with many difficulties in transportation, with 1,126 households/5,562 people. Yen Khuong Border Guard Station is assigned to manage and protect nearly 7 km of border adjacent to Laos.
Reporting to the Prime Minister, the commander of Yen Khuong Border Guard Station said that the unit had completed all aspects of its work well. The station firmly protected the sovereignty and security of the border, actively paid attention to mass mobilization work, constantly strengthened solidarity, and built a solid people's border defense posture.
With the spirit of "The station is home, the border is homeland, and ethnic people are blood brothers", over the years, officers and soldiers of Yen Khuong Border Guard Station have persistently implemented "5 together": Eating together, living together, working together, speaking the ethnic language together, and protecting the border together with local people, thereby enhancing the solidarity between the army and the people. Thanks to that, the area has always maintained stability in terms of political security, social order and safety, creating favorable conditions for economic, cultural, and social development.

With the spirit of "the people are the root", officers and soldiers must be closely attached to the people from the smallest things, further promoting the role of the fighting army, the working army, the production labor army, and further enhancing the glorious tradition of Uncle Ho's soldiers.
The Prime Minister also requested the Station to coordinate with other forces to continue to firmly protect border security and sovereignty, ensure security, safety and security for the people, pay attention to the lives of the people, especially promptly eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.
After the working session with Yen Khuong Border Guard Station, the Prime Minister will attend and launch the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of primary and secondary boarding schools in land border communes nationwide at the Yen Khuong commune bridge point.
