Favorable conditions to "kick off" the 2025 summer tourist season

In 2025, with the number of holidays doubling, specifically on the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day, workers are expected to have 3 days off. On the occasion of April 30 - May 1, workers will have about 5 days off. Many travel companies said that, up to now, they have received many domestic and international tours from domestic and international customers.

Sharing with reporters of Vietnam Law Newspaper, Ms. Tran Thai Thi Tu Anh, a specialist of Ghost MTV ( Da Nang ) - a company specializing in Korean tourist tourism, said that Vietnam's holiday coincides with the time when foreign tourists start planning their summer trips. Therefore, attractive destinations such as Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Ha Long,... are receiving many searches from international tourists, especially Korean, Chinese and Indian tourists.

Currently, the Vietnamese tourism industry is enjoying many advantages in April, from infrastructure, transportation systems, to communication plans that have been carefully prepared for more than half a year. This is a "golden" opportunity to stimulate tourism demand for provinces and localities, accelerating right from the beginning of the summer tourist season, gaining momentum to reach the finish line early in 2025.

According to data on the technology platform, Booking.com has announced a list of domestic and international destinations most searched by Vietnamese tourists. The diverse travel interests of Vietnamese tourists, with destinations stretching from North to South. Da Nang, Cam Ranh and Phu Quoc are the most searched domestic destinations, showing the lasting appeal of these coastal areas. In addition, some cultural destinations such as Hoi An and Hue are being "hunted". For big cities such as Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi , domestic tourists are less interested, but there is a large number of foreign tourists coming to visit.

Realizing the increasing tourism trend in April, a series of provinces and localities have quickly built unique tours and tourist routes, attracting visitors to visit right from the end of March and the beginning of April. For example, at the beginning of the peak summer sea and island tourism season in 2025, in Cat Ba town, Cat Hai district, Hai Phong city opened Cat Ba Tourism 2025 and activities to celebrate the 66th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Cat Hai (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2025).

Recently, the image of the Hung Temple historical relic site being packed with people in recent weeks has been widely spread. It is known that there is still nearly a week to go until the Hung King's death anniversary (March 10th of the lunar calendar), but the number of visitors coming here to worship is increasing day by day. There were times when the parking lots at the relic site had to refuse to accept visitors. Ms. Pham Thi Hoang Oanh - Deputy Director of the Hung Temple historical relic site, said that on March 29th (solar calendar), about 150,000 visitors came to Hung Temple.

This year, the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the 2025 Culture and Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land will take place from March 29 to April 7 (ie March 1 to March 10 of the lunar calendar) at the provincial level, closely linking culture, sports and tourism. This is an opportunity for Vietnamese people to turn to their roots, fostering the spirit of solidarity and national pride.
