Coming to the production farm of Kien Cuong Phat Food Technology Joint Stock Company in village 12, Dong Son commune, Mr. Vuong Trung Kien, the Company Director, is directing workers to check and take care of the chickens. Looking at the chicken farm, which is arranged in a neat manner with most of the area reserved for the playground, under the trees, bushes, the chickens flying freely to find food..., we somewhat understand Mr. Kien's idea of farming in accordance with nature.
Not yet impressed with the chicken farm, we were also taken by the farm owner to visit the pig farm with a scale of 50 sows, 300 pigs; the greenhouse area producing vegetables, tubers, and fruits of thousands of square meters; next is a factory specializing in the production and mixing of animal feed; the slaughterhouse, processing, packaging... All are arranged scientifically , neatly with full modern equipment and machinery.
Mr. Kien shared: Farmers in the past only focused on production and selling to traders without investing much in quality, not paying attention to processing and product output, so prices were often forced down, and income was unstable. I thought I had to do something different, which prompted me to come to the organic farming and livestock model with a closed cycle from farm to table. Luckily, during the process, I received technical support from the Department of Science and Technology, the Institute of Agricultural Planning and Design, and PP Vietnam Biotechnology Joint Stock Company, and the transfer of many new and effective technological processes. The most important of which is the technology of self-producing animal feed.
Mr. Kien's point of view is to absolutely not use industrial bran. All feed for pigs and chickens on the farm is produced from locally available ingredients such as corn, rice bran, soybeans, mineral primex, then fermented with microorganisms, and supplemented with green vegetables, earthworm powder, natural herbs (garlic, ginger, licorice, cinnamon, honeysuckle, betel leaves...) and fed fresh to livestock. Depending on the subject, depending on the age, piglets, sows, pigs, egg-laying hens, meat chickens... there will be a separate mixing formula. These types of feed help livestock have good resistance and help minimize the use of chemicals and antibiotics in the farming process, contributing to protecting the environment and human health.
In particular, giving the pigs green tea to drink every day makes their digestive tract better, balances the lean-fat ratio, and increases the quality of the meat. Another highlight of the farm is that science and technology are applied in all stages and the livestock and crop farming process is carried out in a closed-loop direction. Animal manure is food for earthworms. Earthworm meat is nutritious food for livestock, earthworm manure is organic microbial fertilizer that is fertilized for crops, and so on. In addition, wastewater from the livestock farming process is also sent to the biogas tank to create gas for daily life, cooking, heating chickens, pigs, etc.
Build trust and reputation in the market
Not only focusing on the production stage, with the desire to bring consumers quality, fresh products from the farm without going through intermediaries, Mr. Kien also invested in a slaughterhouse, deep processing and applied protein denaturation technology to produce ham, sausage, sausage. On average, each day, the farm slaughters 2-5 pigs, dozens of chickens, produces about 50 kg of ham, sausage, in addition to chicken eggs, green vegetables, fruits... All products are delivered to consumers on the same day through a system of 3 clean food stores under the brand name Nguyen Xua in Ninh Binh city, ensuring to retain the inherent natural freshness.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang, Dong Thanh ward (Ninh Binh city), a regular customer of Nguyen Xua clean food shared: Currently, there are many safe food stores, however, it is very difficult for us consumers to verify the origin of the products, so we still have many concerns. Since I learned that Nguyen Xua store has its own production farm with a clean food model from farm to table, I feel secure and choose to use it for a longer time.

Mr. Vuong Trung Kien added: All products manufactured by the Company are periodically tested, analyzed for physical and chemical indicators, microbiology (nitrite content, E. Coli, Coliform, Salmonnella, Cadmium, lead...). We have also carried out procedures to register product traceability codes so consumers can be completely assured. According to Mr. Kien, only developing agriculture in an organic direction, protecting the environment, and protecting consumers' health will bring the most sustainable and long-term results.
