On the side of Lao Cai province, there were comrades: Trinh Viet Hung, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Hoang Giang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Giang Thi Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, along with leaders of Thac Ba commune, typical individuals and households, and a large number of people from Ho Sen and Ngoi Len villages attending the Festival.
Ho Sen and Ngoi Len villages currently have 239 households and 1036 people, 4 ethnic groups living together in harmony and solidarity, contributing significantly to the economic and social development of the village. The economy of the people of the two villages focuses on agricultural and forestry production and small-scale business services.
People in the two villages actively participated in patriotic emulation movements, notably the "moving fences and donating land" movement to build new rural areas. In 2025, nearly 30 households voluntarily donated more than 1,200 square meters of land, dismantled dozens of fences, and cut down hundreds of trees to expand and upgrade inter-village roads. People also actively planted flower and tree roads, contributing to creating a bright - green - clean - beautiful landscape; at the same time, nearly 10 kilometers of electric lighting lines were built, significantly changing the appearance of village roads and alleys.
The movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor" has received strong response; up to now, the two villages have only 8 poor and near-poor households (3.3%), clearly demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and self-reliance of the families.
The Front Committee and organizations in the two villages have organized dozens of environmental sanitation work sessions, disseminated laws, launched the model of "Skilled Mass Mobilization" and "Self-managed Inter-family Groups", attracting the active participation of a large number of people. Thanks to that, the material and spiritual life of the people has been increasingly improved, the village and neighborhood relationships have become more closely connected and stronger, creating a solid foundation for the Ho Sen - Ngoi Len residential area to develop comprehensively and sustainably.... The results achieved by the two villages of Ho Sen and Ngoi Len have contributed significantly to the overall achievements of Thac Ba commune.
Speaking at the Festival, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu said that for many years now, the organization of the National Great Unity Festival in residential areas on the occasion of the anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front has become a beautiful tradition, bringing the work of the Front back to the residential community, towards each family and each person. The purpose of the Festival is to build, consolidate and promote the people's mastery; strengthen the strength of the great national unity bloc. The results of the Festival have brought spiritual values, enriched revolutionary will, honored the strength of the community, contributed to the successful implementation of political tasks, economic development, culture - society from each village, hamlet, residential group, residential cluster... in the whole country.
This year's National Great Unity Day has even more special significance as our entire Party, people and army are striving to compete to achieve results in welcoming the 14th National Congress of the Party, creating a solid foundation to resolutely achieve the goal of building the country, building Lao Cai homeland to become increasingly rich, prosperous, civilized and happy.
Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu emphasized that Thac Ba commune is a land rich in historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions, where many ethnic groups live together, of which ethnic minorities account for more than 38.3%. Through the resistance wars to protect the Fatherland, Thac Ba commune has made many great contributions in terms of manpower and resources, fighting with the army and people of the whole country to gain independence and freedom for the country and the people. Thac Ba commune manages a part of the lake area, where there is Thac Ba Hydroelectric Plant - the first hydroelectric project in Vietnam. The Thac Ba lake area also has relics and cultural and religious destinations, including Thac Ba temple, which is recognized as a national historical and cultural relic associated with the Mother Goddess worship, and has become a prominent destination, planned as a potential tourist area. In addition, the commune also cares and focuses on building and developing industrial clusters with an abundant young labor force.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, comrade Tran Cam Tu acknowledged and highly appreciated the results and achievements of Ho Sen - Ngoi Len inter-village in recent times.
In the coming time, he requested the leaders of Lao Cai province at all levels and the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front Committee, and the mass organizations of Thac Ba commune and Ho Sen - Ngoi Len inter-village to continue to promote the good traditions and achievements, successfully implement the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels; mobilize the people to strengthen the strength of great solidarity, successfully complete the political - economic, cultural - social tasks of the locality. Organize well the patriotic emulation movements of the people; encourage and motivate advanced models, outstanding collectives and individuals, create a vibrant emulation movement, arouse the aspiration to enrich the family, the homeland and the country. “Whether or not the construction of cultural life in each family, in each village and hamlet is successful depends on each of us; building a healthy, peaceful and prosperous residential area is for ourselves and future generations” - Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu emphasized. At the same time, he requested and hoped that people would continue to promote the glorious revolutionary tradition, promote the fine traditional cultural identity and the strength of national solidarity, determined to strive to build the Ho Sen - Ngoi Len inter-village as well as all residential areas in the whole Lao Cai province to become increasingly rich, prosperous, civilized, modern, and the people's lives to be prosperous and happy.
