Over the past time, the Military Youth Committee - the standing agency of the Award Council has proactively and comprehensively deployed preparations for this important event.

According to the conference report, the preparation for the summary and award ceremony has been carried out systematically. The Organizing Committee has coordinated with the relevant agencies to complete the procedures, develop the program script, organize the art program rehearsal, produce the summary report and complete the award list.

Senior Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh chaired the conference.

It is expected that on this occasion, the Minister of National Defense will award Certificates of Merit to 16 collectives and 24 individuals with outstanding achievements in the 2020-2025 period; and award Certificates of Merit to 18 collectives and 36 authors whose works won first prize in the 25th Award.

The Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army will present Certificates and cash prizes to 414 winning works (including 12 first prizes, 71 second prizes, 154 third prizes and 177 consolation prizes). The Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union will present the Creative Youth Badge to 36 first prize winners.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh emphasized that this activity demonstrates the face, spirit and level of the entire army in research and innovation, especially that of the young force. The Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics requested the Army Youth Union to complete all program contents, while noting that every small detail in the preparation work needs to be carefully reviewed.

In addition, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh also assigned specific tasks to each agency: The Propaganda Department reviews the content, video clips, and reports; coordinates in building solemn and meaningful scripts. The Logistics Department ensures good accommodation for delegates; the Military Security Department, the Military Training Department, the Office, the Army Music and Dance Theater... join in making careful preparations. He emphasized that each agency and unit must clearly define its role and responsibility, and do well the assigned tasks with a spirit of caution, thoughtfulness, and close coordination.

The 5-year summary and 25th award ceremony is an opportunity to recognize the outstanding achievements of the creative youth movement throughout the army, spreading the inspiration of dedication, intelligence and responsibility in each young officer and soldier, towards building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern Vietnam People's Army.
