To overcome the harmful effects of black-headed caterpillars, the agricultural and environmental sector has recently released 1,450 beetles and 1,627,000 parasitic wasps, bringing the total number of released beetles to 33,063 and 145.79 million, contributing to improving the effectiveness of biological control of black-headed caterpillars and coconut beetles.

Along with that, the area of ​​Autumn-Winter rice infected with pests is over 10,244 hectares, the main objects include brown spot, mice, leaf rollers, leaf blight, grain rot, blast, early ripening yellow leaves, stink bugs...

The level of damage is generally mild to moderate, farmers have sprayed and destroyed it in time so it does not greatly affect productivity. In the seasonal vegetables, the infected area is over 1,222 hectares, pests appear sporadically with low density, mainly omnivorous worms, silkworms, thrips, flea beetles, fruit borers, leaf miners, anthracnose, and downy mildew. In general, the pest situation is stable, causing no significant damage.

According to the agricultural sector's assessment, the situation of plant pests and diseases in the province is basically under control, no major outbreaks have occurred, and farmers have proactively prevented and protected production areas well.
