Actively practicing for Ha Long Carnival 2024

This year, the program has many differences, in which the highlight is the live stage on the sea, which is organized for the first time, gathering the participation of over 1,000 professional and non-professional actors. Currently, the rehearsal for this performance is being actively implemented, hoping to bring to the people a stage with many eye-catching and impressive performances; highlighting the unique cultural features and core values of Quang Ninh .

To be ready to "shine" with the Ha Long Carnival 2024, starting from April 13, 2024, about 1,000 professional and non-professional actors have been practicing at locations according to the program's plan and script. In particular, professional actors are practicing in Hanoi ; non-professional actors of the province are practicing right in the localities: Mong Cai, Binh Lieu, Tien Yen, Van Don, Ba Che and Ha Long.

At Nguyen Binh Khiem Primary, Secondary and High School (Ha Long City), almost every afternoon after school, nearly 400 students selected to perform in the Ha Long Carnival 2024 actively practice the performance night. Despite the hot weather and the need to remember difficult performance moves, the school's non-professional actors are always happy and enthusiastic in practicing to best prepare for the performance.

These days, the training atmosphere is also taking place in many places throughout the province. Currently, in parallel with daily professional work, the team of non-professional actors in the localities participating in the Ha Long Carnival 2024 are also actively arranging time and work to practice together according to the scripts and programs.

Ms. Hoang Thi Dung (official of Binh Lieu District Cultural Center) said: Participating in this year's Carnaval performance, Binh Lieu District will bring to the audience a unique performance with the ball by San Chi female artisans. 50 artisans will participate in the parade and walk and juggle the ball to demonstrate the strength and dexterity of ethnic women when participating in sports activities. To actively prepare for this Carnaval, we have arranged and organized our daily work reasonably, practicing together with the highest spirit and effort. Currently, the practice is being proactively carried out according to the script sent by the Organizing Committee and will complete the performance smoothly for rehearsal and performance according to the set time.

The highlight of Ha Long Carnival 2024 is the live stage and the first Carnaval festival on the sea in Vietnam. The event brings together a large cast of actors and spectacular, highly artistic performances. Therefore, the training must be very elaborate and precise. To ensure the performance content, a choreography team of more than 20 people is also accompanying and instructing the performance movements for non-professional actors at the schools with participating students, with the highest sense of responsibility.

Mr. Nung Van Minh (Choreography Team of Ha Long Carnival 2024) said: Our goal is to train non-professional actors to practice and remember the movements to perform the best on the show. From non-professional actors, they will practice to become professional actors. During the practice, the children showed enthusiasm and tried to practice. Many double movements had to be performed continuously to ensure the correct performance, requiring the children to practice hard and remember the movements, but they also knew the lesson and tried to perform the best. Along with the efforts of the actors, we will also be more proactive and professional in practicing to improve work efficiency, complete the practice, and match the program on time.

The 2024 Carnival program brings together a cast of over 1,000 people, of which over 2/3 are non-professional actors who are civil servants, public employees, citizens, students living right in the province, with the goal of spreading the image of Quang Ninh - a beautiful heritage land, rich in historical and cultural values. After individual rehearsals, it is expected that from April 23, when the stage is completed, the actors of the program will join the stage to practice, rehearse, and rehearse for the official performance on April 28.
