Tien Linh uses 2024 Golden Ball bonus to support "Vietnamese Family Home"

After receiving the 2024 Vietnam Golden Ball award, striker Nguyen Tien Linh decided to use all of his 40 million VND bonus for charity.

Sharing on his personal page, Nguyen Tien Linh wrote: “I am the happiest person tonight. And fame is for dedication. I would like to share this great happiness by donating all the prize money worth 40 million VND to 6 disadvantaged people in need of help from the Vietnamese Family Home program and contributing more funds to build a boarding house for the children of Dan Van Primary and Secondary School, Hoang Su Phi District, Ha Giang ”.

This is not the first time Tien Linh has shared with those in difficult circumstances, especially children in the Vietnamese Family Shelter program. In January 2025, the male striker shared a photo of transferring a total of 18 million VND to 6 children in difficult circumstances. The 9X striker's actions made many people feel grateful.

Tien Linh shared: “There are children who understand the story to the point of heartache, have wishes that seem small and simple but are their dreams and hopes. Watching it is extremely heartbreaking, no matter how strong you are, after watching a few episodes of Vietnamese Family Home you will cry. I still follow the program and often secretly support something, but this time I would like to share that I hope that this meaningful program will be known and expanded by more and more people.”

Many Vietnamese stars have joined hands to support those in difficult circumstances in the Vietnamese Family Shelter.

Tien Linh said that he is an audience who always watches the broadcasts of the Vietnamese Family Home program. He is happy to receive many invitations to participate from the program. However, because of his busy training schedule for tournaments, the male player has not been able to arrange to record. Therefore, he chose to transfer money directly to the circumstances in the program, hoping to share some of the difficulties with the children.

According to the organizers, up to now, the total amount of money that the children have received in the Vietnamese Family Shelter program has exceeded 20 billion VND. Of which, the amount of money from the sponsor Hoa Sen Group is 12.5 billion VND, the remaining nearly 8 billion VND is the amount of money from artists, philanthropists and local people, with the desire to encourage the spirit of children in difficult circumstances to rise up in life.
